Canary Systems 2015 User's Guides

Below are the links to user’s guides I wrote for Canary Systems, Inc. for their 2015 release. Because I am bound by a confidentiality agreement, I cannot provide physical copies directly to others without written consent from the company. MultiLogger Suite Installation Guide
This is the installation guide for Canary Systems, Inc.’s MultiLogger Suite 2015. This guide was aimed at semi-technical audience. I used the installer and took screenshots of it. I coupled these images with my own user notes and information from the software developers to expand what was in the 2014 release. I used Microsoft Word and SnagIt to compose the guide.

MultiLogger® User’s Guide
This is the user’s guide for Canary Systems Inc.’s MultiLogger software, which manages a network of dataloggers, elements that collect data in dams and mines. This guide was aimed at a technical audience. I updated the screenshots, and wrote about new features for the 2015 release in Sections 6.10 through 6.12. I used Microsoft Word and SnagIt to compose the guide.

MLDBConsole User’s Guide
This is the user’s guide for Canary Systems Inc.’s MLDBConsole software, which manages data-collecting instruments in a database, and user permissions. This guide was aimed a technical audience. I updated the screenshots, wrote about new features for the 2015 release, and updated information gaps in the previous guide with new subsections in Section 2 and an additional appendix in Appendix A.8. I used Microsoft Word and SnagIt to compose the guide.

Insite User’s Guide 2015
This is the user’s guide for Canary Systems Inc.’s Insite software, which gives a graphical overview of a mine or dam safety project. This guide was aimed at a technical audience. I completely changed the organization of the guide, added screenshots, and wrote about new features for the 2015 release. I used Microsoft Word and SnagIt to compose the guide.

MLField® User’s Guide
This is the user’s guide for Canary Systems, Inc.’s MLField® mobile app, which allows technicians in the field to collect data readings from instruments in dams and mines. This guide was aimed at a semi-technical audience. I used the app and interviewed the marketing and software development employees to ensure technical accuracy. I used Microsoft Word, SnagIt, and an iPhone’s and Android device’s screen captures to compose this guide.
